1. Business customers only
By ordering, you confirm you are buying for business purposes and not as a consumer.
2. Quotes
Valid for 7 days unless stated. Prices and availability may change after that. Lead times are estimates given in good faith.
3. Orders
A contract forms when we confirm in writing or dispatch. You are responsible for checking part numbers, quantities and specifications. Alternatives are supplied only if accepted on the quote.
4. Prices
In pounds sterling, excluding VAT, which is added at the current rate. Delivery charges are shown on the quote.
5. Payment
Payment in full by card or bank transfer before dispatch, unless you have Trade Plus. Trade Plus: within 30 days of invoice, within your credit limit, which we may change or withdraw. Late payment may lead to suspended deliveries and interest and compensation under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Delivery
To the address on your order within the UK mainland; other areas quoted separately. Dates are estimates and time is not of the essence.
7. Risk and ownership
Risk passes on delivery. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full. Until then goods must be kept identifiable and we may recover them if payment is overdue.
8. Checking deliveries
Tell us within 48 hours of any shortage, damage or wrong item. We collect and replace or credit at our cost.
9. Returns
Goods ordered in error only with our agreement, within 14 days, unopened and in original packaging. Restocking fee of up to 15% and return carriage may apply. Special-order, order-in and cut-to-length items cannot be returned unless faulty.
10. Warranty
New goods carry the manufacturer’s warranty only. We pass on its benefit and help you claim. You are responsible for suitability and for installation by competent people in line with current regulations.
11. Liability
Our total liability for an order is limited to its price. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
12. Waste electrical equipment
You are responsible for lawful disposal of electrical and electronic equipment at end of life, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
13. Events outside our control
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
14. General
You may not transfer your rights without our consent. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. England and Wales law applies; the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
